The big three-Oh

Today is my 30th birthday! Wow... I never imagined this day would come. I can't believe how fast these years have gone. I miss the 20s already!! I don't have much planned for today. I have school today. I was thinking of skipping it, but... I really don't want to risk falling behind. Even if it's only a day. A few years ago when I tried college for the first time, I would have skipped (actually I skipped a lot! -guess that's another reason why I never graduated) but I now know how much a day can set you back. Atleast my 3 classes today are in the morning. I'll be done by 1. I actually made it to school 30 mins early today.
For the past few weeks, I've been late to my 8am class. Today... I made it REALLY early. Sucks the class ended up being cancelled!!! I could have slept in! What a way to start my birthday. Well, I could look at the bright side (even though its cold and rainy today! =\ ), it gave me a chance to write an entry for today.

I know, I haven't been writing much. I appologize to the ones who check up on me on a regular basis. Let me sum up what's been going on since the last post:

I started school. I think I may have over booked myself with classes. I have 5 classes. It's really wearing me down. I should have gone part time first, rather than jump right in as a full time student. What's really killing me is that I have 3 computer classes: Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and Flash. It's been hard trying to put so many hours into each class for projects (especially when the assignments are due in the same week). With those classes plus the other 2 classes, I bearly have time to relax. I get pretty tired by the end of the day.

Gerry and I just moved over the weekend (again). We've moved every year so far. We really like this place. It's a one bedroom loft. It's pretty cool. I don't know if you know what lofts are like, but the building we're in, it has a mini mall and grocery store on the first floor. They converted the second and 3rd story of this building into lofts. We have concrete floors and the ceiling is about 15ft high, with really big warehouse type windows. I've always wanted to live in a loft. It's been a dream of mine. It's not the exact one I've been dreaming about, but it's a step closer. Gerry and I are excited about this move. It'll give us a fresh start on life. When we moved into our old place, I had just been diagnosed with cancer. I spent the entire year we lived there recovering from surgery and chemo. Now that things are going good with my health, we can leave that bad memory behind with the old apartment and start fresh... cancer free.

OH! look at the time, I need to get to my next class.
